Wordless Wednesday- Lunch Choices

Happy Wonderful Wednesday!!! I hope you are having a fabulous week! I'm back for another link-up with the amazing Miss Decarbo from Sugar and Spice. I really look forward to this link-up each week! I really enjoy seeing what all of you do in your classrooms, I'm getting so many amazing ideas!

In my school, I need to turn in a salad count every morning to the cafeteria. It's easier for me to just have my students make their lunch choice as they come in in the morning- whether it's a hot lunch or salad from the cafeteria, or if they brought it from home. This also really helps with attendance in the mornings!

Do your students need to make their lunch choices each morning?
If so, what do you use for their lunch choices?

Happy Teaching,

  1. Love this idea & how you displayed it in your room! So cute:-)

  2. I do kind of the same thing with clothespins. It's cool that your kiddos have choices, I really like the salad option!

  3. Clever, cute, and simple! I LOVE it! We do our lunch count on the computer. I just call out their names and they tell me if they are buying a school lunch or packing.

    Have a good week,

  4. This is cute! Our students don't have "choice 1" or "2", they just choose hot or cold. I have a calendar pocket chart with their names on a paper. When they come in, they put a red or blue stick in their pocket. It's a great way for attendance!
